Meet The Lead Physio
Thana Kuruparan DPT, BSc, MCSP
I am an HCPC registered Chartered Physiotherapist with qualifications in both Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy. I have worked in various rehab settings in NHS and private sector including acute in-patient rehab, intermediate care unit and step-down bed units and community rehab. I have over 10 years of NHS experience.
I love my profession as I can help people in every aspect of their activities of daily living, whether it be their health, confidence, or even overcoming obstacles that seemed impossible. In my experience working in the community, I have found that people treated in their own home environments have achieved better results.
I am bilingual and can speak English and Tamil fluently.
My areas of expertise: Elderly rehabilitation, Falls prevention, Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Conditions, Neurological rehabilitation, Vestibular rehabilitation and Sports injuries.
